Agriculture & Nigeria’s Development

Agriculture & Nigeria’s Development

With the fall in oil prices, Nigeria’s need to diversify has become even more apparent and at the top of the list of new areas to diversify to is agriculture.

Ada Osakwe joins Opuiyo Oforiokuma to look at the possibilities in Agriculture. Ada is more than qualified to speak on this subject, she was the Senior Investment Adviser to former Nigerian Minister of Agriculture, Akinwunmi Adesina. She’s been listed on Forbes as ‘The 20 Youngest Power Women In Africa 2014’. Today she’s the CEO, Agrolay, a private investment firm dedicated to growing the agriculture and food sectors in Africa.

Warning Warning please stop making the same stupid mistake the europeans are still making. Please go back to africulture farming. These paracites in canada where I live and other countries like the United Snake of Asswholes and Australia are killing the land. You should learn form them 450 years these whites did to the land to frack it up. Your land will be depleted. Your land will produce useless foods. Please do not help to kill Africa any further.. I am a Jamaican, as a boy i grew up on my family sugar cane goat chicken and rabbit farm . I saw the problems that came from stupid eurocentric farming Assholery.. When I read about the plight of Ken Saro-Wiwa his fight to save my Nigerian cousin sistahz and brothaz, I broke down and cried.. I still do when I am reminded of what the Rockefeller group of companies did you Africa. Please honour him by proceeding in a harmonious fashion which heal the land. If you do this in five years you do not need to fertilize or weed mush. You use up to 78% less water and your food will command the highest value in the world. How is this possible well your food now becomes a cancer cure an asthma cure or treatment malaria treatment and so on..
my name is grant i do not know everything. I am not rich but if someone like me had the resources you do well i would heal the world
